Mahacef SB 1.5 Injection is a combination antibiotic containing Ceftriaxone 1000 mg and Sulbactam 500 mg. It is prescribed for treating bacterial infections affecting the lungs, urinary tract, skin, abdomen, bones, joints, bloodstream, and other organs. Sulbactam enhances the effectiveness of Ceftriaxone by inhibiting bacterial beta-lactamase enzymes that can inactivate antibiotics.
